Earlier this year I spent a beautiful winter afternoon with Anna and her husband Sean in Munich, exploring the city they fell in love with many years ago. These two beautiful people are super passionate about traveling, so they decided to make the trek from America to Europe and document their holidays with a lovely couple session.
I rarely do winter engagement sessions because I’m a major wimp when it comes to cold but I lucked out on this particular day with this amazing couple. If every winter shoot could be like this, sign me up!
Starting out at Marienplatz with its beautiful masonry backdrops in the center of Munich we then ventured outside, but with the temperature dropping and snow starting to fall we soon took shelter at a nearby coffee shop. I think it was a blessing in disguise as you really couldn’t ask for a more romantic and graceful backdrop. Anna and Sean were so refreshingly excited about the winter, perhaps because they’re both from Southern California. We all love warm summer days but there is nothing like a winter walk with some pretty snowfall.
